About FPV-DB

FPV-DB is an independent, non-commercial database of FPV drone components — BNF quads, motors, batteries, props, FC stacks, cameras and video transmitters — with calculators pre-filled from real component data.

What this site is

A structured spec sheet for the FPV hobby. Every component gets one page with its verified specifications, cross-links to compatible gear from the same database (batteries that match a quad's cells and connector, props that fit a motor's class), and embedded calculators pre-filled with that component's numbers. Think of it as a reference table, not a magazine.

Where the data comes from

• Manufacturer pages first. Specs are scraped and hand-verified against manufacturer product pages and data sheets. Every entry records its source URLs, and version caveats (O3 vs analog builds, per-KV weights) are noted where they matter.
• Retail listings as a secondary source. Where manufacturers publish incomplete tables, specs are cross-checked against major FPV retailers' spec blocks. Fields that are class-standard assumptions rather than confirmed values are marked as such.
• Thrust data is transcribed from manufacturer bench test reports — the per-KV, per-propeller, per-throttle tables that manufacturers publish only as images inside product pages. We transcribe them into structured, comparable tables and link the source on every motor page. No third-party bench data is used without a license.

Freshness

The database is rebuilt from live sources daily. A component page missing required specifications is not published at all — it stays in an internal queue until the data is complete, rather than shipping a thin page.

What this site deliberately does not do

• No reviews, no rankings. Flight feel is subjective and better served by the community. We publish numbers with sources; you draw conclusions.
• No sponsored placements. No manufacturer or shop has input into what is listed or how it is presented.
• No copied editorial content. Everything here is either a structured fact with a source or a calculator.

Corrections

Spotted a wrong spec? Manufacturer pages change and typos happen. The fastest fix is to compare the page's listed source; if the source disagrees with our number, the entry gets corrected on the next refresh once flagged.
