FT Systems FT VTX 3.3GHz 4W 16CH

Of the 13 other 3.1-4.0 GHz analog video transmitters in our database, 4 have a lower maximum power than the FT VTX 3.3GHz 4W 16CH (4000 mW, 36 dBm), 4 the same and 5 a higher one; the class median is 4000 mW.

FT Systems's own Betaflight VTX table is on this page: 2 bands of 8 channels, 3170–3470 MHz, 4 power levels, IRC Tramp. CLI commands and JSON file.

Every frequency matches the frequency table on page 4 of the maker's manual FT_VTX_3.3-GHZ.pdf. Power values and labels are the file's own: its lowest step is labelled 0 but commanded as 9 mW, as on FT's 4.8-7.2 GHz file.. Transmitting is only legal on the frequencies and power your country allows; see VTX frequency bands.

Where this data comes from

Ukrainian-made transmitter: 16 channels (two bands) over 3170-3470 MHz, an aluminium heatsink with a fan, controlled over IRC Tramp. FT Systems quotes measured RF output of 4090-4480 mW across the range rather than one figure, because the amplifier does not deliver the same power at every frequency - the 4000 mW here is the nominal top setting. No weight: the product page says 30 g and the maker's manual 25.85 g for the same 53x28.85x16 mm body, so the two maker sources disagree one against one. Outside the 5.8 GHz band this is not a licence-free link in most countries; check local rules before transmitting. FT prints the connector as 'SMA female'; the column holds one spelling per connector.
