Where this data comes from
Second source 2026-09-23: HDZero's own product page prints the labelled block - Manufacturer Divimath, Inc, Model HDZero Freestyle V2 VTX, Weight 22.3 g, Dimensions 29x30x14mm, Operating Frequency 5.725-5.850GHz, Transmitter Power 25mW,200mW, Mounting Pattern 20x20mm M2 holes, Antenna Interface Secured U.FL, Video In Secured MIPI, Input Power 7-25V, Power Consumption 6-15W - and the 1 W this page publishes is the same manufacturer's, stated twice outside that block: 'The VTX is capable of maximum 1W RF output at R1 channel if unlocked with license or approval from the local authorities' on the product page, and in the HDZero VTX User Manual v1.1 (linked from hd-zero.com/document), p2 'HDZero VTX Products' table as '25mW, 200mW (500mW, 1W with HAM license unlock)', with an Unlock RF Power Limit procedure on p18 citing FCC 47 CFR 97.215(c). So max_power_mw is the radio and power_levels_mw records that it ships limited to 200 mW; output also decreases as the channel frequency rises above R1. This is the TBS Unify Pro32 DP case from the other direction - there a retail title printed a locked-down subset as the whole radio, here the manufacturer's own spec block does. power_draw is the maker's own supply figure, 'Power Consumption: 6~15W' in the Freestyle V2 column, read 2026-10-17; it is the VTX's input draw, not its RF output.
